i'll keep it family friendly and just say i think hes built like a tall glass of water on a hot day.

what are your thoughts? do you like it? i do lots of the new designs are great but this one really caught my eye!

I rather like him. The flowing mane and clothing are quite elegant, and I enjoy how the colors pop out against the blacks and greys. It's very different from, say, Ocarina of Time's version of the character, but nevertheless it fits well into the aesthetic of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. If I had to nitpick anything in particular, I think that they should have chosen either tattoos or arm jewelry, rather than both. Or, perhaps they should have chosen a tattoo design that doesn't look like it's competing for your attention, but it doesn't really hurt the design either way.

oh my. Hello mr. ganondorf, is there a mrs. ganondorf?? 😳

the way i just snorted out loud at this LOL

i think he looks super cool! can't wait to see how his return plays out in the game. he seems so strong and sturdy compared to how i would have imagined him being. i don't know why, but i imagined he'd weaker looking? like especially after being sealed away for so long. i definitely felt hyped when he showed up in the trailer! i can't wait for this game to come out

I mean, I'm glad that people are thirsting over this Ganon as opposed to Skeleton Ganon.

I remember when that first trailer dropped and people were all thirsty for that and I'm just like

Even as a die-hard Zelda fan I haven't been exactly keeping up with TotK, so this is the first time I've seen this Ganondorf redesign. I really like it though! He definitely looks a lot cooler compared to the other renditions of him in the series. (Especially OoT and WW, although I understand the latter considering the more cartoon-y look of it.)
I've always liked his outfit in other games (even though his OoT and SSBU designs look like he's wearing a carpet for a cape) but his new outfit is still nice and definitely fits the BotW/TotK theme. (Also the hair is just amazing, they definitely went for the Hero of the Wild look with the ponytail.)

Huh? Why is Ganondorf on the logo no-

Oh.. new Zelda's out innit

I am so behind on everything.

I don't particularly care for it at all honestly. To me, his classic Gerudo look is fitting considering he is a Gerudo. I always felt the Japanese style clothing was for the Sheikah. Unless I'm missing something in the story since I didn't play TotK yet, I just don't find it appealing on him. Too much Akuma vibes and less Hyrule vibes imho.

i think it is the best Ganondorf design so far. i do wish his skin was tan instead of green, but he was a skeleton, so i guess it makes sense. :p and he has almost always been green in the games, i suppose.

Sadly the design doesn't really click with me. Don't get me wrong: It's really well done but I prefer the more "evil sorcerer" look that Twilight Princess had (the crown weaved into his hair especially was a stroke of pure genius). This new Ganondorf is a littlle too muscular-heavy for my liking.

I think it's very on par with most of the other Ganondorf designs. The cape has a hint of Wind Waker feel which I like. It didn't occur to me until this concept art was released that Ganondorf's ears have gone back and forth from being round to pointed over the years and I think I prefer them to be pointed but otherwise it's a very nice design!

I like it. (Just has a more classic and grounded design than all the others, IMO). - Looks a lot less extravagant and royal, and more like a samurai or mercenary. Feels leaner and more streamlined, and less fantastical.
