Hi everyone!

I registered on the forum a while ago, but am now finally getting around to introducing myself.

I'm Hayley, and I've been playing AC since about 2006. I started on WW, and then played CF.

My first WW town was called "Londiniu" because I didn't have enough characters for "Londinium." I had Jeremiah in my town and we became best buds. Jeremiah moved out after 2 years of playing right around the time CF was released, so I jumped ship and started a CF town with my then-boyfriend, now-husband.

Our CF town was amazing. We had Stitches, Static, Snake, and Lucky -- so much fun having that many awesome townies! Static moved eventually, and we mourned for a week. Then my Wii started to fritz and we abandoned the town after not finding a way to move it to our new Wii. I still miss our old town! Had a great layout, too.

Last summer, my husband bought me a purple 3DS for my birthday because he was soooooo sure that NL would be released by the end of the summer. Well, we know how that turned out.

I've been passing the time waiting by watching Lin and Ko and zedamex videos on my lunch breaks and re-starting a CF town (our second town just never lived up to the first and we decided to start fresh). I also bought that Nintendo Dream guide just so I can look at all the pictures. Do I know Japanese? Nope. Do I care? NOPE. (Did my husband? Yes, because it cost $30.)

Aside from AC stuff... I like Doctor Who (spotted a few Whovians here already -- allons-y!) and The Sims. And books, which is good because I'm a librarian.

Nice meeting all of you! I used to frequent the LiveJournal Animal Crossing communities -- any other ex-LJ users here? I'm glad I found a new place to discuss AC and trade friend codes since LJ is so dead now.

welcome to tbt :)

idk why but I really enjoy seeing older people joining the forum

Haha, thanks! I'm not that old -- still in my 20s. For a few more months. >_<

But yeah, I don't feel so bad either when I meet other adult AC players, too. Not that I have a problem with kids or teens, but sometimes it's just... nice.

Welcome to the site! Static is one of my favorites too. He's been a fixture in my GameCube town for years, and I would hate to see him move.
