Getting into Turnips to make bells before the next wave of chaos (+ general discussion on Stalk Exchange)

Hi everyone!

I'm considering making a bunch of bells via the turnip stalk market before everything becomes crazy, inflated, and chaotic again. I know it won't be as chaotic as the original release date, but I still want to be prepared.

I've played AC since Wild World and never touched the Turnip Stalk Market so I have no idea how it works! Should I try to master it and load up on bells before the next popularity wave?

If I do decide to get into it, any in-depth guides you can find? Also how do I use these fan-made tools? Any direction to guidance would be greatly appreciated.

You can use this AC turnip calculator to predict what type of high price you can get. It usually depends on the buy price you get when you first talk to Daisy Mae every Sunday Morning between 5:00 AM through 12:00 PM. You have to pay attention to the morning and after noon hours because thats when the Turnip price tends to change. The worst you get is if the price is Fluctuating where it goes up and down, which doesn't make it go any higher. You have a better chance if you get a price that is going to a High Spike or Small Spike.

However, if you get the bad luck where you price keeps on decreasing and it goes all the down by Thursday then you probably won't be able to sell your turnips at a high price. The best thing to do is to go to someone's island who is selling for a high turnip price. I would recommend this other site called Turnip Exchange, but be warned, some of the people on there can charge fees so I suggest avoid those people and look for ones who don't charge any fees when going to their island to sell your turnips.
