Getting rid of villagers?? And Amiibo cards

Hey guys! I’m at the stage where I have my first camper and I’m sad to hear I have to accept the first one without choice!!

So I have word from a friend that if you fill up your town with the max of 10 villagers, if you use amiibo cards you can swap them out/force them out to be replaced by your purchased amiibo character.

Any confirmation on this??


( I organised my town on the idea that I can have the characters I want and bought amiibo cards for that purpose, only to find that I won’t be able to have them all due to these random villagers I don’t like. )

Any advice is welcomed!

Oh good! I never played new leaf! Only wild world and city folk so I have no idea how it works!

Ditto... no idea how it works. I got the option from a campsite visitor to have them speak to a villager about taking their spot, but they kept choosing Stitches. Is it normal for them to fixate on one villager???

You'll need to invite the amiibo card villager to your campsite 3 days in a row, and then you'll get to move them into your island/kick someone of your choice out.

Ok! So what do I do? I’m getting 3 amiibo cards tomorrow, but the others are gonna be a while yet.

Will campsite villagers change every day if I ignore them? And the plots nook gives me.., if I don’t place them, no one can move in right?
