I'm not sure how many people this applies to, but I'll post this anyway.

When HHP was announced, I was skeptical about whether it was something I wanted to do. Not just because it's DLC you need to shell out money for, but I'm not a big "design" Animal Crossing player. My island is always in the editing phase because I'm always scoping new ideas from social media.
But on a whim, I took a chance on it and I've been having a blast. Plus I'm one of those people that struggles with self-confidence and this was a good relief for that. I've made some builds that I even amazed myself with and seeing the animals react to how it turns out, catching different poses and interactings with photos- it's really heartwarming and sweet.
I've also kinda noticed- I'm a big sucker of symmetry and that's usually what I end up with, haha

I agree! HHP has been a game changer for me, I have so much fun doing it. It’s what I spend most of time doing in game now. I love just seeing all the furniture getting unlocked and it’s so nice to decorate land with a grid lol

I like hhp more than I thought I would. But the main thing I like about it, is that it gives the player exposure to every villager they would otherwise not get. With over 300? that exist, exposure of some kind is needed in every ac game impo.

I have never really been interested in decorating but I have heard and seen good things about happy home that I might ask for it for my bday. There are exclusive items that you can only get with the dlc?

I don't believe there are exclusive items, but I heard you get the ability to remodel your villager's homes on your own island at some point which is really worth it in my opinion since they like to display clothing, bugs, and fish all the time.

I was able to access the DLC due to a lovely person on here adding me to their family NSO plan and honestly the developers did a great job on it. It's charming and honestly makes designing in your own town such a chore. I really wish you were able to move stuff around using the same grid system with duplicating items, deleting them, moving things around without having to use your character to drag it.

I just 'beat' it today and having access to lots of villagers has given me new favourites. Cally is one villager I added to my island after designing her house. She's adorable. Ione is another one I'd like but don't have room for rip lol.

I bought HHD when it came out and enjoyed it, though I experience burn out after a couple of houses designed in a row. HHP is the same in that regard. It's not something to binge but fun to do every once in a while.

There are exclusive items from HHP You can buy from Wardell with Pokki it's just some HHP furniture items but you can get them with trading if you have NSO

I’m glad you decided to give it a try and enjoyed it! I was always planning on playing HHP, so I didn’t need any convincing. 😊

My favourite things about HHP so far have been unlocking so many new furniture sets and items (I know they’re not exclusive to HHP, but it’s so much easier to access them), decorating vacation homes for NPCs, and being able to redecorate the homes of my island villagers (good bye to your sleeping bag Louie).

I get pretty attached to my island villagers, so I haven’t cycled through many. My absolute favourite thing about HHP is being able to meet so many villagers I hadn’t met before/had the chance to invite to my island. 💖

I'm still sad we don't have mini games to play with friends.
But when you don't have friends to play with, this DLC is that random side content that tortimers island filled but turned up to max.

Its one of the best things to ever happen to the series.

Everyone should buy it.

Whenever Tom Nook asked me to work for Lottie, I thought to myself 'Oh no'. I did think that I would be away from my island a lot. The first few houses I was just getting to grips with, and all I put in was the items they have requested. But after the first few I loved it, and who couldn't want to go to work when you can see Wardell? 😍. I was also desperate to unlock the DJ KK concerts. Now, I've got a 2nd island when it comes to HHP, I'm going to put even more effort in. The Bell to Poki cash machine converter has been a game changer, as there is so much I want to buy from Wardell but never enough Poki since they are harder to obtain.

I got HHP as soon as it came out and seriously it inspires me to work on my own island. It gives me access to tons of furniture that I wouldn't have been able to use otherwise. I don't have nintendo online so I don't trade. That means HHP is how I can design a home to my heart's content (without spending bells or nook miles or even nmts). I agree everyone should give it a try. Plus, Wardell gives me such joy :D

I love the convenience of unlocking things there and how it lets me experiment with more homes and villagers without having to fully commit to having them on my island. It definitely makes me appreciate some villagers to design for them in HHP and there are some I just want to hang out with in that context. It also helped me to find items I wouldn’t otherwise.
