Give Phinnesus his balloon stand back!

I always loved when Phinnesus would show up in the city and you could get a prize from him! I don't mind that he gives out badges in new leaf, but it would be cool if he could do both in animal crossing switch.

Yeah I loved Phineas' prize stand!! I preferred getting ballons and pinwheels that way than via Streetpass (since I never use Streetpass because I never take my D.S. out of my house). I think a prize store as Bcat suggested where you can get both badges and balloons etc. would be really cool.

I would not mind the stand again alongside the badges in some manner, but I would like to see him peddling something else or having some other purpose. I am sort of sad at the thought I will never see him again once I get my last badge.

Isn't his name spelled "Phineas"? Anyways, I will say, I did like his balloon stand in City Folk, but I did also like the fact that he gave out badges in New Leaf too. I always honestly found the idea in New Leaf of getting balloons from people you met on StreetPass cute, but I can see how that might be a problem considering that StreetPass doesn't exist of the Switch, which practically raises up questions about what functions the HHA will have in the new Animal Crossing game and what Digby's role would be.

You could possibly visit him and he'll sell souvenirs + give funny survival tips and also tell stories about his days as a youth and being part of the scouts; he'd give you daily activities and badges as rewards instead of randomly showing up and giving you badges.

I think it would be cute if you could befriend him through listening to all of the stories and he disclose to you that he used to sell balloons and treats. After a few more interactions of him bringing it up he asks if it would be a good idea to close the shop once a week or once a month to bring everyone the joy back of getting a balloon.

That'd be pretty neat! Perhaps he could sell backpacks in his scouts store too then, since it looks like backpacks have come to the Animal Crossing series. I think it'd be befitting of him. I like the idea of daily activities too!

I think the balloons and pinwheels could easily disperse to different, more fitting events than Phineas appearances. He seems to have found a good role in the series, in my opinion.

Plus, having them not be dependant on other players ensures the game won't be restricted once it gets old and less people play (or worse, when the online is no longer supported). We really do not need another Wild World Nookingtons, where it's impossible to get today unless you buy a second copy or know someone who still plays in your city.

Or it gets the virtual console treatment where that's no longer need....it'd be nice...but yeah i agree, sucks for people that don't have a VC copy of the game...(please port if you can nintendo, thank you)

Oh, I really like that idea! Such a store would fit perfectly to Phineas and I hope that the
new games offers something like this. I at least would like it more if he would run such a
store, they could also add new items, maybe also new badges and such.
