Today I have some time to myself, and with ten villagers, Sweets was feeling a bit crowded. I decided I would spend today getting Frita to move. So, two days forward, and two days back, and Isabelle tells me that Wolfgang is moving out today.
:c
I didn't want him to move. He was my first campsite villager, and I remember hating when he moved in because I didn't like Cranky villagers, but he grew on me very fast.
I'm definitely going to try go get him back through a 16 villager cycle.
Anyways, he's free. I don't want to sell him. I know he's kind of popular, but from now, 1:00 p.m. to around 7:00 I'll be letting people post, and then I'll draw a name out of a hat or something. I don't know how popular he really is xD I have somewhere to go at 3:30 and I won't be back on till maybe even after seven. So really, from now until I post later.
I've never done this before, can you tell?
That's the reason I don't use the 2 days forward, 2 back method. I accidentally used it once (I wanted a villager to move in faster, so I tt'ed forward two days to get them to be in boxes, then back to get to the original date). One of my dreamies were in boxes. I really don't like that method at all. Sorry about Wolfgang!
He didn't even tell me he was moving! I went to his house and he said, "Sorry I didn't tell you, I couldn't find the right time. But now I'm leaving today!" or something. :<
Never ever ever use the 2 days forward 2 days back; that is effectively jumping 3 days in advance (TT backward only counts as 1). Far too risky, instead use the slow but assured method of 1 day at a time, jumping forward until someone pings that they want to move ~ always check with a trusted villager if no villager seems to have pinged in a while (they might say something like 'I hear 'Agnes' is thinking of moving'). If it's a villager you want to keep continue to talk to them throughout the day, don't give up. If it's a villager you don't then continue cycling though until they move.
I hope this information is helpful to you in the future and I am very sorry you've had to lose a villager you evidently adore.
Yes, I'm still accepting for probably fifteen more minutes. I didn't anticipate my mom wanting to go out to dinner, hence why I'm late. I'm on my phone right now.
I also can't reply directly, but thanks for the advice. I have to be super careful for the cycle, so I'll try just going one day.
If you want Wolfgang, fifteen more minutes. I'll get home and write everyone down and draw a name. Thanks for the interest in him!
