glitch during hide-and-seek tour

Yesterday I saw a "glitch" happening in ACNL. In one of the hide-and-seek island tours, while Tortimer was explaining the rules, one of the villagers ran to me, as if to hide in front of me, then ran again to a better hiding spot. My local multiplayer partner didn't see anything happening on her screen.

But for me, the same villager couldn't be found in that tour (we found the other 3), which is strange because we normally don't fail that tour. I ask if someone ever had similar experience, and if that one villager could ever be found.

Yeah I've seen stuff like this posted before. I haven't expereinced it yet since I don't do that tour much anymore. My cousin and I usually do the hammer tours

Yeah, I've seen posts like these before. Sounds like a pretty trippy glitch if you ask me. I'm hoping to see it sometime, it would be funny just to watch a villager dash across my 3DS screen.

For the people who experienced it, could the villager be found afterwards?
I don't know if it was the players' fault, but we couldn't find her (I think it was Winnie or Victoria).

sorry I'm a little late on seeing this.

I was the only one who could see Ricky in the beginning running across my screen, my friend didn't see him. we headed off in different directions but she found him within less than a minute so I'm not sure if I would've been able to see him or not :/

ive been really hoping it will happen again so I can take screenies and such, but it hasn't.
