Golbat in LG...

Yeah, I've been playing Leaf Green again, and I have a Golbat...

Just a few seconds ago, it did the whole "Huh? Golbat is evolving!" thing....but, it just didn't evolve. It stopped without showing a small sign of change about to start. The response was "...?"

And NO, I didn't press the "B" button to stop him.


I wanted a Crobat.




Does anyone know what happened here?

I recently restarted my FireRed, and I beleive you'll need the National Dex from Proffesor Oak. To get it, record 60 different Kanto Pokemon. Then talk to Oak, and he'll give you the National Dex, which can record all 368 Pokemon, instead of the 150 Kanto Pokemon.

Tom told me that you need the National Pokedex for Golbat to evolve.

Yeah, if you press B when a pokemon is evolving it stops it. Normally it just evolves the next level, hopefully that's the same for the mood evolving pokemon.

Oh, nvm you didn't press B. Yeah like someone else said it's probably because you don't have the national dex. When you get 60 pokemon and beat the Elite 4 talk to Oak.

I used to have a shiny golbat, it was green, then it evolved into a pink crobat.

Wow, what a coincidence, I started LeafGreen up about five days ago.

I have a Venasaur, Pidgeot, Primape, Dugtrio, Butterfree, and Jolteon all between levels 35-36. I try to only raise five evenly (less work) and get a Pokemon on stonger strength later in the gmae, whic was Eevee. I'm at Koga.

I just DECIMATED Erika, thanks to my Golbat.

Snorlax-lv32
Venonat-lv27(I NEED a Venomoth...for flying reasons. Somehow, Golbat cant use fly)
Blastoise-lv36
Dugtrio-lv36

And...I think thats about it. I had a Hitmonlee lv25, but he sucked...bad.




Does anyone know what level Venonat evolves at?

Errmmm... bad. I can't think of anything else that flies... maybe Farfetchd does. Trade a Spearow for it.

I try training my Pokemon equally as well, with one... maybe two... a bit stronger. I try to train about 5-7or8 to start, to give me a bit of selection when necessary.

Catch a Pidgey or Spearow and teach him/her fly D:

it means you didn't beat the league or the elite four cause u need to the national dex for crobat.

SPOILERS
After you beat Blaine, Bill will take you to Islands 1,2, &3. There are wild Pidgeottos in the forest on 3 Island.

My team is:
Charizard; 41
Riachu, 38
Gyarados, 38
Kadabra, 39
Haunter, 37
Butterfree, 39

But my Pokedex total is somewhere in the 70s. I'm heading to the Elite Four. My Gyarados helped me beat Giovanni even though his weakest was Lvl. 45.


I think I'll need to train Raichu in specific for Lorelei and the E4 Champion. And Kadabra and Gyarados for Brunos. And I need to teach Gyarados an ice move for Lance. As for Agitha... Kadabra and Haunter will take out her Poison & Ghost Pokemon. Butterfree knows Giga Drain, Sleep Powder, Poison Powder, and Confusion, so he can take anything! And I've used at least a dozen stat boosters on Charizard. I've got this all planned out.
