It was all just a misunderstanding on his side, you're acting kinda fussy about it.
You could tell someone to go die in a hole "please" but that doesn't make it very nice.
But anyway, i'll quit with the off-topic. And no, i haven't got it because i haven't played in ages.

Bidoof, you haven't received the golden bed, you need to try & work out why.
1. Have you received DLC normally in the past?
2. Even if you have, check that you have wii connect24 ON in the wii itself and also ON in the game - they have to be on in both.
On the wii - it is probably via settings - I would have to go on the wii to make sure, but its not hard to find.
There are full details on all the official Nintendo sites.
Ingame it is via the phone in the attic.
3. I've found I get the DLC more quickly if I connect the wii to the internet but don't actually play the game (ie have wii in sleep mode). If you are playing the game, DLC still comes down, but its taken me 2 to 3 play sessions before I get Pete at the door.
4. Are you in Australia - there was another player on here (on the older forums) who was also having problems getting the gold bed, don't know whether he got or not.
I haven't been able to log onto Australia Nintendo site - it is either down or very slow to load. If its situated in Brisbane (Queensland), well it probably is down.
