Is there any special purpose to the golden watering can? I've unlocked it and it seems to do nothing special. All I know is that it can turn dead black roses into golden ones which are worth 2500 bells. Other than that the golden watering can seems pretty worthless to me. Is that all there is???
You may think that's worthless but gold flowers can only be gotten through this way. I feel that they look nice and make a nice decoration around my town. I've put them around a pyramid making it look quit nice.
Golden watering cans can also water 9 flowers at a time which is very useful if:
1) you have a lot of flowers or hybrids in your town
2) you're trying to breed more hybrids
You might not care about flowers or hybrids (I didn't use to when playing Wild World or Let's Go To The City) but they are really nice and essential if you're trying to build a nice town.
