I must say, I've never loved a game so much that I wanted to be a part of the community for it. So this is a first for me.
I'm Nick, game/app dev from NYC. I'm a huge gamer, going back to the days of atari and original NES, but now mostly game on PS3, Steam, and Minecraft. This the first time picking up an animal crossing since the original on Gamecube, and after a month of daily obsession over it, I feel like it's time to expand my horizons.
Right now, It's me and my girlfriend playing in separate towns, with trips once in a while to the Nintendo World Store in Rockefeller for streetpass players and contests, but literally no other friends play it (I guess a 3DS is quite an investment for just one game). After going through NeoGaf and a number of other communities, BTF seems like a great place with good people that I'd actually like to get to know.
