Imbri
Resident Night Mare
It was a beautiful day in Hollowyn, and took me no time to water the flowers, dig fossils, and get my money. Unfortunately, it looks like I've got a bad money day, because the rock gave me small amounts.
I sold off the fossils, chatted with a couple of villagers, and made a date for Eugene to come over. Maybe he wants to talk about which of the ladies he's fallen for (Eugene is a total romantic and always wanting to fall in love) or what's going on between Shari and him. If Anabelle is to be believed, they are barely on speaking terms right now.
I picked up a couple of items for my catalog and made a payment on my loan.
Also, when I was in Salem, I took several bamboo shoots from there. I've planted them near the train station, alternating them with holly bushes. I still need a few of those, but I'm rather pleased with the way it looks. I've also started planting some bushes defining the bridge path near Stitches' house. I want it to be sweet olive, but I'll use whatever is in the shop, for now.
After Eugene's visit, I had Sapphire, Flint, and Jett do their things. Sapphire has the mannequins from Sable and Mabel, so just needing Labelle's now. I've started working on getting some for Flint, now. They also worked toward paying down their loans. I'd like to get upstairs rooms built for all of them, then I can set up the "apartments" and start working on the main "lobby" rooms of each of the houses.
I stopped in to see Keaton. He asked me if I'd get Shari for him, because he couldn't go out. He was using a new hair gel, made from Bavarian cream. It's very sticky and takes a long time to dry, so he couldn't go out until then. What? No! Anyway, I found Shari, who seemed to think Keaton was going to berate her about something. Monkey-girl has some issues. Turned out Keaton bought a shirt for her. He thought it would be nice on her and wanted to surprise her. She gave a quick thanks, said she was out of there, and left. Poor Keaton. He was sad that she hadn't stayed longer, but "everyone is in such a rush around here". Hmm, maybe Keaton liking Shari is what's causing trouble between her and Eugene? I should see what Keaton and Eugene think of one another.
Anyway, he gave me a grapefruit table as thanks, which was nice. Shari was lurking outside and sniped the table in an unspecified trade. If I wasn't looking for those PWPs, Shari....
Antonio wanted me to go see his house, so we headed in that direction. I need to work on his house. He has two TVs - a modern wood (which I managed to buy from him) and a flatscreen. He also has a fossil in the middle of the room. Maybe a blue or green table would work, since he has a blue bed and a green chair. If I could fix that, I might let the balloon sofa slide.
Purrl asked me to catch her a peacock butterfly, so off I went. Fortunately, they're pretty common around town. In return, she gave me a five-ball tee.
Here's the bamboo and holly hedge I was talking about.

There's a gap to walk through at the end of this section, and it's open toward the bulletin board, but it'll help keep the grass from eroding too much. With all the cedar trees nearby, I think it'll look nice.
Rizzo stopped me to tell me about meeting Erin from Salem. He said he liked her and hopes to see her again. I'm pretty sure that can be arranged, Rizzo.
