my name is luc, i've been playing animal crossing for a lot of years now (since GC), and figured it's time enough to meet other people who do the same thing. always liked forums too, so that's a big bonus towards here.
Ace- he moved out of my brother's town the first time I connected to it, felt a strong connection ever since. Waited forever for him to come back to the series, so glad he did!Hello and welcome! Who’s your favorite villager?
It's probably nostalgia, but whenever I think of Animal Crossing in general, GC is what comes to mind- things like the lighthouse quest for Tortimer, trying to upgrade to Nookington's without knowing I need someone else to actually buy something instead of just coming over, not knowing what the secret codes or signposts mean for years, going on the bulletin board treasure hunts expecting to find an NES game or art but falling into the pitfall they put instead... a whole lot of this is just burned into my brain, and I wouldn't have it any other way.Welcome to the forums! Out of all of the Animal Crossing games you've played, which one is your favorite?
Thanks! I'm currently doing a lot of island designing in New Horizons, so it'd be pretty hard to focus on another game at the same time. I think I'm almost done rearranging homes and shops, and since the next part is getting favorite villagers to move in, it might be a bit before I can go to another game.Hi Luc, belated welcome to the forums! I hope you’re enjoying it here so far!
Which Animal Crossing game(s) are you playing currently?
Ooh, nice! I totally get that; I also have a hard time focusing on other games whenever I’m working on my island. Does your island have any theme(s), or are you just decorating it however? Thanks! Mostly just decorating it however feels right. There's a lot of brick roads, but also a cherry orchard, mantis garden(pink/white roses) basketball court, snack/drink plaza, an over-decorated hill for Freya to live on, and a whole lot of rose gradients.Ooh, nice! Moving stuff around is dang annoying, mostly because it takes a full day for Tom to move a single building. I guess I could time-travel, but I really don't wanna, so I'm stuck paying him 5 digits every day to slightly move things. It's just like real construction workers!Good luck with finishing up building rearranging and getting your favourite villagers to move in!

I'm a pretty big fan (favorites are definitely gen 3-4), and I have a lot of favorites (Haunter, Cloyster, Scizor, Zangoose, Shuckle, Skarmory, Honchkrow, Mismagius, Breloom, I can go on), but I haven't played the new ones(Legends Arceus, Scarlet/Violet). I've heard that they were alright, but it's pretty hard for me to justify $60 on another Pokemon game after Sword and Shining Pearl both felt unfinished, unpolished, and super-buggy to me... but that's a different topic.Hi, welcome to the site!
Cool Haunter sprite profile picture! Does that mean you like Pokémon?
I'm finally getting the Able Sisters to move today, so it only took 2 weeks to have a cool shopping area... And past that is moving Elmer by 8 blocks, moving the Campsite again, and moving Diva across the map.A bit late to your intro thread, but welcome!
I agree that moving stuff around can be annoying! I found that was especially the case when I wanted to move a building, but only move it over slightly, so I had to pay to move it to another location, just to pay more to put it back in almost the exact same spot.
Which villagers are you hoping to have move in?
