Good tips for earning quick bells?

I just got Animal Crossing: New Leaf yesterday, and I was wondering if any of you guys have tips on earning bells. Thanks.

Bug catching on the island can earn you a few hundred thousand bells a night (when you get it). Shells and foreign fruit are good start and after 4pm check the beach for large fish with their fins out of the water, you can get quite a lot of money from them.

Island Farming.

Since you just started collect shells and your local fruit to sell after 3 days or so you get the island after that go there from 7-11pm(best times) catch as many beetles as possible that should get you close to half a million bells each trip.

When you get the island go and catch lots of sharks and beetles

Also at retail they have a special everyday check on the board outside what yours is if its something easy like Sea Bass (lol) Then take advantage of it! You get alot more~
