I know this is a month late, but last month, we had to give our family dog cookie, to the humane society. Because we were moving, we prolonged when we gave her to the very last day. She was a few years younger then me (10), and we all loved her so much. Nobody we knew had any room for a dog, or lived in an apartment (as we live in an apartment right now). Lots of things have happened in the past month along with giving her away. If life is hard for you too, all you need to need to endure is hope. Hope that things will get better, as they will get better. Giving her away might just be one of the hardest things to do.
