I give all my villagers non native fruit everyday that's wrapped as a present. I don't give them furniture or clothing and it appears to be working pretty good so far as I've gotten the 3..

I have Kyle's and Bones' in my bedroom, Diva's, Merengue's and Flip's in the greenhouse, and Bettina's is outside next to a gravestone haha. Probably will move Flip's outside as well, as he's gone tomorrow, into the void.

All obtained with the wrapped non-native fruit method.

I got Cranston and Molly's photos, currently have them sitting in my office, but I will probably move them to the outside of their houses to better pinpoint whose house is whose for visitors if they happen to be crafting or anything of the sort, plus I have the posters for interior design

I think it's just luck... Keep doing what you are doing and you'll get them.. I'm not sure how some already have several as I been giving wrapped non native fruit since day 1 and I only have the 3...
