Got snow? Seeking dung beetle!

Anyone got snow (and therefore dung beetles) on their island? I want one to complete my bug collection SO badly, but it hasn't started snowing on my island yet, and I'm impatient.

If anyone has snow and is ok with me coming and catching a dung beetle, let me know!

there are dung beetles on my mom's island if youd like to come!
i dont know how often they spawn though. ive caught 2 today.
can wait until i confirm actually seeing another one before you come!

I don’t think dung beetles will spawn with the gates open aka with online Co op. All guides I’ve seen suggest you can only catch them on your own island.

sorry to say it, but the above is correct. while the gates are open there are no snowballs, thus no dung beetles will spawn. Its the one bug you have to catch on your own island
