Wasn't able to find an answer, so I figured I'd make a thread. x__x;

She hasn't come to my town yet, but I'm curious as to how it works. I have a general gist of things, like outfit themes and whatnot.
But does she give you a theme? Do you need to have a certain amount of clothing on (like shirt/bottom/overall, shoes, hat, and socks)?

Yeah, she gives you a theme, then you need to wear clothes that match the theme and tell her you're ready for the fashion check.

Wear
1) a hat, a helmet, or an accessory,
2) a dress or a top and bottom, and
3) shoes
Socks are optional.

you need to have clothes, shoes and an accessory that all fit within that category, but one of them can be another theme!! there's a chart here that shows what combinations can go together~

so if you're theme is "official" and you have an official hat and dress, you can put on some cute shoes, just as long as the majority of your getup fits the theme (2 out of the 3 bits of clothing). however, by the chart, wearing some sporty shoes with your official look will get you a fail. i hope this helps you some more, my dear!!

oh no! you're right; it can be a hat, helm OR accessory, i was just using a hat in my example~ just as long as the majority of your outfit fits within the theme and doesn't have another clashing category
