Gracie finally decided to grace me with her presence,about time too!

I was beginning to think she was never coming to my town but she finally showed up today. I have been collecting clothes for weeks now to prepare for her fashion checks. I have most of what I need except a few ornate and alot of modern things(sadly there a number of things you can only get from her which makes no sense since you need them to get her in the first place. Dumb). So I passed her fashion check(she asked for official) and she gave me a sweets minitable. I am now debating whether I should wait patiently for her next 3 visits or tt to get it done sooner. What should I do? How long doe she go between visits? How far back do I need to go to "reset" her visit? O and when I did her fashion check she complained that I was wearing everything of the same style, said it was vanilla. Isn't that the whole point of the fashion check? Thanks

I'm no expert on Gracie Grace as I've only had two visits from her. I think it's random when she comes in a weekday.

Don't quote me on this but I heard you can TT a day forward and then back after completing her fashion check. Each time you do that it resets Gracie Grace and you have to complete a new fashion check. Apparently you can do it 4 times this way and each time it counts to the total. I suppose this is safer than TTing randomly forward till she shows up which endangers loss of villagers etc. I guess it's worth a shot doing it that way since there is no danger of missing too many days TTing forward and if it doesn't work just TT back

As for outfits I've just done the complete sets and don't mismatch in fear of failing her checks. So I've been getting the same response as you have which is it looks vanilla. However, according to this Thonky guide you can wear different themes with the required theme for the check as long as they don't clash.

You can also time travel back to 5:59 the day before, let it go to 6 then go talk to Gracie.

I passed some of my checks whilst wearing items from other themes. In fact, she actually seemed happier when I did that than when I wore all the same theme.

I just passed my 4th one! Whoo! Should be getting the Emporium in the near future... but, I'm gonna miss the uber late hours of T.I.Y. Does help that I set my clock an hour slower than real time, which is funny since I originally did it to buy turnips. XD

She doesn't come every week, so it's kinda unpredictable of when she'll pop up. Try to check if she's in the plaza in the morning, so you can buy stuff for the catalog (definitely useful if you buy a lot from the Able Sisters or ya catalog a lotta clothes & such) and you'll have it later that day when Pete delivers the mail.

I can say that if you wanna mix and match themes (today's theme was official), most of the items have to be of the announced theme to nail the check. In my case: 4/5 pieces were official, and 1/5 was basic. You can have less to pass, but you get less valuable items... 3/4 times I got Gracie & Sweets furniture and the one time I didn't, it was a shirt.

Not true. I just tried it today, nothing. Well, I'm getting Drago to move out, and he will be soon, so yay. Another funny thing is that another person had a fashion check, and I did, and the other person had the same theme as me...weird.

All I've seen about tt'ing for fashion checks is go back to the day before and them come back and it resets and changes the theme. I'll probably try that tomorrow after work and if it doesn't work i'll the other suggestions here. I hope she gives me all sweets series stuff cause I want it for my house and having 4 free pieces will save me money. Thanks for the help and info guys and I will def check out that guide. only change your clock back to 5:59 am of the SAME day she showed up pass the check, save and quit...then start up the game set the time to 5:59 am again on the same day etc etc until you pass them all.

Going to 5:59am of the same day Gracie showed up is the easiest way. Try wearing Cute socks with whatever theme you get. Cute goes with everything.

I tried the 5:59 thing and when i did that and then changed the time to later katrina was there. Changing time to next day but I wish I would've tried the 1st method again. What usually happened is I's go to day before save and quit and return to that day. Gracie would appear only every other time I did it. Katrina popped up a few times,once or twice nothing. One time I had a new move in. The last time took going bk 2 days. I got all the fashion checks done, thanks for the tip about the socks rendra,she loved me wearing them with the other styles. The downside is that in the process I lost 2 people(Phil and Felicity) gained Cube and Mira is due to move in today. I have never had her in any of my towns before so I hope I'll like her. Thanks for the help everyone!
