Grass Day

Grass Day occurs on September 3rd at 6:00am when Reiji/Lazy (the Garden Shop owner) visits your village to bring your town together for some good old fashioned weed picking! And by the town, we mean you. (when do the villagers actually help you?)

Speak with Reiji/Lazy and he’ll tell you how many weeds (no clovers!) he wants picked. Complete the tasks to receive a piece of the Flower Set furniture. Four pieces of the set can be gained from picking weeds in your own town.

But wait, there are 12 pieces of furniture! Now what? You need to visit other towns on Grass Day. Every 30 weeds picked in another town will earn you a random piece of the B section of Flower Set furniture.

I've recently been looking into making a garden-themed house, and the best way to go about doing that is to get the Grass Day furniture set. Normally, I'd just time-travel to September myself to get it, but apparently going to another town also set on Grass Day is necessary. Is anyone else willing to time-travel their town to September 3rd with me, so that we could use each others' towns to get the items?

Also, going with the garden theme, does anyone have a grass flooring I could buy from them/catalog?

I'm not willing: but I think you do have another option: I and/or others could come over to your town, get the items and give them to you.

Then, maybe if there were extra's you could use them as rewards.

I feel the same as Valerie. I would be willing to come over and help you, especially if you give away the extras!

I'm not quite sure if that would work; I think it has to be Grass Day in both towns, but I'm not sure. It's worth it to give it a shot, I suppose. I've got several appointments to go to tomorrow, and I don't want to lose my neighbours by time travelling really quickly to get to September, so I'll be doing it gradually. If I get my town to September by Thursday, would you two be able to come over and try out this theory? By that time, I should have a lot of weeds (I won't pick them until Grass Day), so you can keep any extra furniture you get and I'll pay you for the ones I need. I'll open my town to everyone so that they can get them as well.
