Grecia the Toucan

Guys, I saw the documentary on Discovery, and I was so happy in the end and also felt like murdering whoever hurt this poor bird. Good thing is that Grecia the Toucan got a prosthetic beak and now it can eat and sing. It was young people who broke the beak. The doctors thought Grecia would need to be killed to end its suffering. I'm glad though that they could help it by making it a beak with a 3D printer. This is really depressing but it mostly makes me mad. Toucans and birds in general are gorgeous creatures. Why the hell would ever want to hurt one?!

I don't know. The most people know was that it was teenagers hitting its beak with sticks

If only a 3D printer could give me a beak, i'll be the most popular bird in school. On Topic: Those teenagers need to be punished. That poor toucan like oh my gerd.

thats awful. but i'm glad that grecia at least got a prosthetic beak..although grecia shouldn't of had to need one in the first place.

when you said 'young people' did it, i thought you meant like a young child, one who didn't know any better. but teenagers are old enough to know better, and while it may just be a silly toucan to some people, i really hope karma finds the people who did this.

This is one of the reasons why I hate people, leave the f***ing animals alone!!!!!

This gorgeous Bird didn't deserve this and I hope its okay, such a traumatic experience for the poor thing. It makes me so angry, its sad that people see animals as objects to abuse, I'm glad there is people who do care out there.

Yes the whole staff donated their time to helping Grecia recover. c: I'm glad there are more people who care. The community went marching and there was even a float of Grecia ^^
