Hello! It's nice to meet you all! I'm Officer Berri but Berri's just fine. My username is based on a character I have made up... didn't start out on the force, she just sort of ended up there. Copper and Booker could use some help! Was a suggestion from my boyfriend. 
He's actually just joined the forums as well!
Anyways. I've always been a huge fan of the Animal Crossing series. Every since the 3 month long preview in Nintendo Power way back before Population Growing was released, I knew this series was going to be something special to me. It was the first game I ever spent my own money on. Ten or so years later and here I am, almost bursting with anticipation for the 3DS title. It's the game I always dreamed the first one would be. I also have Wild World, but it's never been able to captivate me the same way Population Growing has. I almost bought City Folk when it came out, but I never use my Wii that often and feared letting a town go to waste. However, that didn't stop me from buying the strategy guide!
It's a pleasure to join this community and I look forward to discussing things with everyone. I was searching around for forums on Animal Crossing and stumbled across this one from Justin's 3DS Blog. I have to say it's one of the best forums I've seen so you guys won me over!
