I'm close to paying it off, just need to finish my basement and that'll be that. I've been a bit slow about paying it off though, as I don't have an immediate need for a fully renovated basement.

I have only been able to make my main room the biggest I can. And the upstairs room. The upgrades increase in price far too quickly. I'd understand with the basement being more expensive and the upstairs, but the three side rooms should all cost the same to upgrade. The way the upgrades increase in price reeks of Nintendo fake difficulty gimmick to keep people playing the game. And now the town projects just add to it.

I don't want to go out and fish for sharks every night or cut down all my trees and plant perfect fruits. Or rely on turnips which are a gamble to get a profit out of. -.- But that's what the fake difficulty wants from me.

But yeah I'm nowhere near having my house fully upgraded.

(And ugh... Tom Nook gave you a house with no interest and lets you pay it off whenever you want. I never understand this "Tom Nook is eeeviiiiiil" thing people have going. I assume it's just they're not old enough to know what house ownership and debt is really like.)

I finished paying off my house nearly a month ago, I've been spending all my money on PWP or adding it to my bank account. I've been trying to organize my flowers and hybrids in my spare time now, but it still looks untidy.

I paid off my loan a month before the game even came out and i bought it like 5 days after it's release in NA xD

I didn't TT at all for my first month so I'm quite proud of that. I captured beetles and sharks. Now I just play the stalk market.

I'm actually keeping my house really small for now -- the same size as the animal villager's houses. So I am noooowhere near finished paying it off.

I wish you didn't need to pay off the house completely to get all the cool upgrades. I want a basement, a top floor, and a main room the size of an Animal's house. I don't want a mansion, I don't have enough furniture to maintain a good HHA score in all that space.

I have one space expansion left on my left room, two on the attic, and two on the basement. But with how my cash flow is goin' right now, I should have that done within a week tops.
