Maybe OP meant the surprised emotion?? I can see how it kind of looks like a gyroid...esp when villagers do it.

No, I forget how it's done, but I heard about this glitch. In the GCN Animal Crossing, starting a new town (then resetting at a certain point I think?) would sometimes make your character's face a gyroid face rather than a normal AC face.

I'm pretty sure you get the gyroid face when in ACGC you go to a friend's town and you don't save before leaving, or something like that? I don't think it's a glitch, just a little reminder to save your game.
