Hello friends!

I've been playing animal crossing new leaf for a while, then took a break, and now I'm back in the game and it would be really cool if I could play together with someone else! I have no irl friends with a DS

Needless to say, I'm a complete newb with the entire connecting to each other and playing together thing, so if someone would be so awesome as to show me the ropes... well, <3
I also have those Nintendo items that I dont care about, so that could be a collateral

I am available to play with all day mon, fri, thurs (except today) usually ^^

About myself:

-a "grown up"
-violinist. So if I dont reply, I'm most likely practicing. About 98% chance.
-artist and I wanna draw animal crossing arts!!! But my town is not pretty to inspire at all. So, like, I can draw your habitats? If I'm not practicing that is.
-nerd. Star wars nerd, LotR nerd. Witcher nerd. Mini music nerd (comes with exposure haha). I like Supernatural

Oh also Lolly is my original villager AND I LOVE HER SO MUCH

Thank you! I have a question: what is the difference between dreaming and trains? Is dreaming just looking, not really able to interact with anything?
And what is "opening the gate"? And do people every just leave their world running afk?

I think the best way to describe dreaming is you visiting a replica of someone else's town. You are able to interact with things in the dream town, but it has no effect on the actual town. For example, you can chop down as many trees you want in someone's dream town, and they would never know.

When you visit by train, you are visiting the actual town. Your actions there will affect the owner's game. "Opening the gate" means someone's town is now open to travel to by train.
