Journal 3 - February 1st - Weekday working
I had the day off of work today so the first thing I did was attend the morning exercises I normally never have time for! Even Saharah joined in.
Then I headed inside to town hall - where I decided to get my final storage expansion. 1,200,000 bells payment but it will be worth it!
Then I decided to head to the Able Sister's shop, and went to talk to my friend Sable straight away.
I thought, wow, what amazing advice! So I followed it immediately and posed with my new 'fun' outfit... Not sure if she meant this type of fun, though.
I had a visitor at the campsite too, Portia, who is really cute! I had her in my town in NL, and was tempted, but I want to at least get the photos from residents before I potentially replace them. I did play a few games with her though, and ran away with my pockets filled with her possessions.
Harvey's island was my next destination, where the shopkeepers unfortunately didn't have much that I wanted. Redd was trying to scam me, and Kicks was trying to sell me clown shoes! Katrina also gave me a bad fortune, but at charging 10k to protect me from it, I would rather accept my fate.
Finally, I actually headed to work! Clearly the team were not expecting me... Niko was really shocked I was coming to work so early in the day, and attempted distracting me with a lengthy conversation about partitions as soon as I arrived, which made me suspicious... But I would never have predicted what I saw next.
Skeletal remains just out in plain sight! With Lottie and Wardell acting as if nothing was out of the ordinary... I was initially flabbergasted, but pretended I didn't notice anything and rushed upstairs to change my work uniform and give Niko some supplies. Sure enough, when I came back downstairs...
It was as if it was never there! Swiftly removed, and Lottie couldn't even bare to look at me until I had to ask her to start working. I bet Wardell is hiding the remains under the stool that magically appeared... Absolutely terrifying. As to not arouse suspicions, I took a job with Sylvania the squirrel which was quite a sweet request.
I finished up her house, and slipped a warning note in her vegetable basket - I couldn't live with myself if I'd indirectly selected their next victim. Upon being paid 15,000 poki, I swiftly asked Wilbur to take me back home. Not sure I'll be back anytime soon for my own wellbeing.
