Mephisto Pheles
Head of True Cross Acad.
So I officially turned 22 today, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it's going already!
Usually, my birthday is the same every year - I get a couple of birthday cards with some money to spend, and a small handful of obligatory birthday wishes from some family members. I don't usually get a cake or anything, either. (my own choice)
This year, though, is a little different. And this may sound incredibly dorky, but.. one of the differences that has really made my day is the amount of birthday wishes I've gotten from fictional characters.
Yes, I you read that right - I said fictional characters.
Without knowing about what happens on your birthday in Tomodachi Life, I loaded my game, just to check if the shops had restocked yet - which they weren't.
I was, however, surprised by a phone call by my Mii "look-a-like", who brought me to his apartment and hummed the "Happy birthday to you" tune to me, along with a few of the other Mii's on Frogdale island. (I even got a cake!)
After that, I loaded up my save file in Fire Emblem: Awakening, and refreshed the barracks many times, just to see all of my "comrades" wishing me a happy birthday.
And then, an hour or so later, I opened AC:NL to find my favorite villager - Drift - waiting at my door so he could take me to his house so I could celebrate my birthday with him, Samson and Peaches. (they gave me some nifty birthday candles as a present, too!)
And on top of all that, everyone here on the forums have been really nice to me today! I've been wished a happy birthday, gifted collectibles.. someone even gave me some TBT bells!
So even though my family (other than my Mom) hasn't said anything about my birthday today yet, this has still been one of the better birthdays I've had.
Thanks, guys!

Drift wishes he were taller, too!
