I just want to wish eveyone in the Northen Hemisphere a happy first day of Fall (Autumn)! It is my favorite season! I really like the changing tree colors and the cool crisp air! Whats your favorite thing about fall?

Halloween and Thanksgiving. :) I'm not generally a fan of cooler whether or seeing bald/ing trees, but I love to see all the entertainment that releases around this time and all the movies and house decorations.

i literally only like halloween, to me autumn just means ragweed/pollen and that winter's on its way

My sister surely isn't letting me forget about today lol.

I like that the weather will finally cool down a bit here (even if I can only handle the cold for about 2 weeks) and that I can wear scarves. I really like scarves but it's always way too hot to wear them here on a daily basis. I also like the pumpkin and spook season. I'm going to get a little baby pumpkin eventually.

Holidays and the appearance. I love cold weather, and fall is such a good level of cold. I love the colors of the world during fall too, where I live it definitely turns into an AC level of reds and oranges. Fall fashion is really nice too, comfy and casual, and I love the dresses/skirts that start to come back during this time ! :) And what beats a lightweight jacket??

Every Halloween I throw a big party with friends, have since I was like 15, so that's always a highlight of my year. Plus going to pumpkin patches, fall festivals, horror shows/houses. Or driving around town and looking at everyone's decorations. It's all just so good. Thanksgiving food slaps too.

OH, and seeing my dog, whomst is a pomeranian, run through the fallen leaves and see everything go flying. AND THE SOUND THE LEAVES MAKE WHEN YOU RUN THROUGH THEM YOURSELF.....

Man, fall is just the best season.

Edit: AND HOT DRINKS AND SOUPS COME BACK.

Literally Halloween, and that’s it. Spring and summer > fall and winter, imo

Fall is next to winter one of my favorite seasons. I just like cold weather in general and since we had
such a hot summer this year, I'm glad that the temperatures are getting down. Besides I like how the
trees changing colors and such. Also Halloween of course.

Even though it means winter is coming, I do enjoy the colours of the changing trees and the general aesthetic of fall.

I love Fall too. I love the colors the trees turn during this season and the fact that cooler weather is now here. Living in a high desert sucks, but the cooler weather is definitely very welcoming. Fall means Halloween and Thanksgiving too and I just love those holidays and it also means Christmas is coming soon as well. The end of the year is always fun. :)

This year and possibly every year from now on my mom and I will be carving pumpkins and that is such a fun activity during the Fall season and I recommend it to anyone who wants one for Halloween. Other than those, that's what I love about this season. ^^

Since I live in California, I never see the leaves change colors. Whenever they fall, they turn brown immediately or still green. :[
Otherwise, I enjoy the warm-ish weather. I like escaping from the hot summers but not into the cool, rainy winters.
My favorite holiday is the Autumn Moon Festival, just satisfying eating rice cakes under the moon. (Wow, this year was on Friday the 13th) Halloween is also amazing, though I'm too poor to afford candy and I don't know how to talk to kids during Halloween.
Thanksgiving is nice but my family is huge. I ended up meeting 5 new relatives every year.
I will tell you one thing I totally despise, when the plants turns a yellow-ish-brown then they die. :[

I love fall because of Halloween and my birthday, which is literally the day after Halloween. I also like watching the leaves change color and the beginning of fall when the weather is just slightly cooler. I don't like it when it gets cold (below 60F), though.

Looks like the days are going to get shorter and shorter now... :|

I do like when it gets cool (not when it's freezing!) Also my birthday is in November. I certainly don't look forward to becoming 23 though! >_>

The scents, the candles, the weather, the trees, the colours, the walks around the park, the sunset, the food, the atmosphere, the way fall looks in Animal Crossing (especially when the trees and sky are orange... phew), Halloween. Fall is the best season. Shame it's gonna snow here on Saturday so I will absorb as much autumn as I can within the next few days.

Happy Fall to you as well, and to everyone else! :)

I've said it a number of times in various threads over the years, but I absolutely love Autumn, it's my favorite season.

I very much prefer cooler temperatures over warmer temperatures, so Autumn is optimal for me since it's cool but not as absolutely frigid as Winter can sometimes be. The changing colors of the leaves is great and it makes for great scenery, and I also like to take walks through leaf-covered paths. I'm more of a night owl, so I really like the sun setting earlier in the evening. Oh, and give me a foggy Autumn morning with leaves on the ground and I'm in heaven.

Pumpkin flavored food is pretty great too. I like to bake pumpkin treats throughout the Autumn months, and I've had a few drinks that were okay. I've never had a pumpkin spice latte though, despite hearing about them for years, so I've been thinking about trying one out this year. Maybe some pumpkin flavored alcohol too?

Additionally, Halloween (my favorite day of the year), my birthday, and Thanksgiving all take place during this time of year. Autumn just feels comforting and familiar to me.

Now I'm just hoping that we'll finally get a cooling down soon. Temperatures of 80 Fahrenheit and higher keep popping their heads up and I'm going to need them to go on their merry way.

Autumn is also my favorite season. I love it when the leaves change, and it becomes sweater weather. I love Halloween the most - I get to dress up and be silly. This year I'm dressing up as the Thirteenth Doctor from Doctor Who. I'll most likely be handing out candy at work or something.

I forgot to mention that I also look forward to the end of Daylight Savings Time. It wreaks havoc on my sleep schedule all summer and I really don't mind it getting dark earlier, so I'm happy to finally see it end.

I like Fall... Or at least I like the idea of it. Where I live Fall comes really late. It won't start feeling nice at all until somewhere in October, and it won't be consistently so until November. A few years ago it was still hot in November, though, so you never know. =/

But regardless of whether or not it is still hot, I sure am a lot happier this time of the year, because the loooonggg Spring-Summer misery is finally going to take a break. Fall time makes me happy. I just wish I lived somewhere where Fall on the calendar meant fall weather.

It?s. The. Leaves. I get to see varying colours that look beautiful to the eyes. I don?t have to deal with raking them YET. For those in the Southern Hemisphere, is your spring faring well for you (or any other ?season?)?

Happy Fall -insert a bunch of hippie emojis here- !

Don't like it getting colder since I can't handle it that good but sure colours are pretty :)
