Yes I have Wolf Link (Ganon also) in one of my giveaway towns.
But unfortunately you cannot "adopt" those villagers when they are in boxes from another town:

You can only invite those characters via the magic lamp and a suitable amiibo card to the campground from where you can invite them to live in this town.
