Happy Home Paradise Roommate Question

In one of my single-level houses, I have Zuker. I would like to make a second level and put Marina in it with furnishings for her. Is there a way when I do invite her as a roommate that I can be assured that she gravitates to the second level that I have decorated for her? I am not even sure if they choose different areas or if they just kind of walk around together. Thanks in advance for any help.

When you finish, tell them so on the second floor. They'll tour that room specifically.

From my experience, when you have roommates, they are both always present when visiting. They share the area like they both own it...whether it's the yard, the bottom floor, or the top floor.
