Has anyone actually managed to get an SNES Mini pre-order?

Because it's beyond insane how quickly they're selling out. I knew it would be bad, but not gone in under ten minutes and crashing websites bad.

That said, my hubby actually managed to snag a preorder because he was at the mall and walked into our local GameStop at exactly the right time.

And Nintendo is apparently only going to manufacture them through the end of the year. ARE THEY KIDDING.

And Nintendo said it would be stocked much better than the NES Classic. Really Nintendo? That reeeaaallly stinks... Oh well. I really wanted one. :p

Nintendo needs to get their act together and start making enough SNES classics to go around.

I don't even know if I'll be getting one. I have one pre-ordered at my local toy store since way back but I honestly don't expect them to get any.

Forgot about it, but Amazon UK pre-orders have been gone for quite some time by the looks of it. I still don't understand why Nintendo aren't even getting close to meeting demand for these systems (Mini NES is still about triple price) as surely having units to sell is how you make money?

No idea either why they are making those such LE's when they know scalper gonna scalp.

And no I haven't tried but on the other hand I don't game a heck lot nowadays so it'd be a waste.

I don't need to bother pre-ordering a SNES Classic.

I already have a SNES ^o^
Which tbh are prob cheaper and has a much wider variety of games and cool stuffs. How can you play Paperboy 2 on a SNES Classic??

I would've preordered a SNES Classic Edition a few days ago, but for some odd reason Nintendo of America won't be selling a single unit in Qu?bec province of Canada. There goes my chance at scoring one unit.

Since I already own most of the included titles in some form, I feel way less tempted to drive 6+ hours to queue up for that.

I didn't know they were for a limited amount of time! Guess I'm going to miss out... ;-;

Well, if you wanna get Earthbound, FFIII and Mario RPG then you better be prepared to pay. And there ARE ways to play Paperboy 2 on a SNES Classic, but you didn't hear it from me. lol

That just drives me crazy ... the way Nintendo does its sales and marketing.
They have a product that is very popular and dont make enough for everyone to have one.
ACNL Amiibo cards like the Sanrio series are a good example of short slightness and failure to understand the market.
Why so many Pokemon games and only one ACNL style game per console?
Dont they think a new version would sell?
And where is AC for the Switch ... I will not buy one till that game is available for it.
(doubt if I could find one if I did want to buy it now ... except for ebay at twice the price)

I really wanted the Sanrio series cards but they were sold out on day one in my area.
Now the scalpers on ebay have won again thanks to Nintendo's failure to produce enough of them.
Please Nintendo ... Wake up and stop leaving money on the table by disappointing your customers.
