Has anyone else noticed that the newer dialogue has just vanished?

You know how everyone was talking about all the sudden new dialogue that came with the January update?

I got that too...and it only lasted for like 1-2 days and then vanished. My villagers have reverted back to the old usual dialogue and haven't even said anything new aside from the first time I talked to them after the update. Has anyone else experienced this too or is it just me?

I was really excited for new dialogue, but it's just gone now on my island. ;-;

They've started talking about Festivale though.

My weeds started to grow bigger yesterday. Maybe the was some kind of internal seasonal shift and the dialogue was tied to that? Or the Festivale talk just replaced it.

i never got any new dialogue, my villagers spoke about festivale but that's about it

maybe it was a confirmation bias kind of thing, where people only noticed "new" dialogue because they started speaking to their villagers more often. i spoke to my villagers more soon after the update went live but i didn't notice anything new (anything new to me was already in the game since day 1).

i will say the lunar new year dialogue and festivale dialogue i got today was cute ☺

Outside of Festivale dialgoue, there appears to have been new dialogue added. I believe there was just a placebo effect with many players talking to their villagers after a while.

A dump of v1.5 dialogue can be found here. Pretty much everything is there except for Toy Day and Festivale related stuff.
