Has anyone had Anchovy as a starting villager in Wild World?

I just got a new copy of the game and I?ve spent a total of about 6 hours resetting to try and get get him as a starting villager lol. I keep seeing the same animals pop up, but never him, so I?m starting to worry if maybe it?s not even possible to get him. I was hoping someone has had him as a starting villager, or that someone has had success in resetting to try and get their favorite. Any success stories would definitely lift my spirits!!

I have! I don’t know if it makes a difference, but I chose for my house to be near the beach ^^;
