Has anyone tried drawing the villagers as humans?

I'll admit...I tried a few times, lol. My attempts at Gloria, Shino, and Pancetti weren't as good as I expected, but I loved drawing Vivian, as well as Maelle, Poppy, Rio, Gwen and Friga, and Tammy. (All girls...I know. I guess I prefer drawing girls.)

Thanks! I like doing portraits (a little less cartoony), but occasionally some fanart.

I really want to try and do this too! Your sketches are awesome, I love them! I think it's a great idea because I also love portraits but sometimes I run out of people to draw so I think it's a cool idea!!

i also like drawing the Sims characters (NPCs) during art blocks lol

Well... no I really don't enjoy drawing humans but I do really love looking at fan art that other artists did of the AC characters as humans
P.S the term for this is called "Gijinka" which is when people turn non-human characters like Pokemon and AC characters into humans

Hm... I just started drawing AC villagers, so the idea of trying to humanize/anthropomorphize them is out of the window for me, lol. I don't think I'm that good at drawings humans, either. Though it's a neat idea, I'd definitely try it once I get used to drawing them!

Nope. No way. I’m not even going to attempt to draw humans. I can barely draw villagers as it is, lol. I’m not great with humanizing things anyway. I couldn’t even get the visual in my head, let alone get it out on paper.
