has the amiibo glitch been fixed?

hey, just noticed my game says "version 1.1.1a" but I looked it up and can't find anything about it
is it a bug fix?

or am I just an idiot and that's been there all along?

I haven’t heard anything about a fix yet. I would be happy to be proven wrong, however.

1.1.1a is the Bunny Day update, I believe, going by Nintendo's Twitter.
