Have you completed series one yet?

How many of you have completed series one of cards yet? If not, how many cards do you need left?

For me, I need 55 cards still. X_X

I still need 57 cards. 3 special and 54 normal. And with the dumb EU packs, I'm not really sure if it's worth buying more. X_x

I've managed to complete series 1 (mix of Japanese and English cards) and series 2 (Japanese cards), as well as getting all promo cards available. I got a lot of help on series 1 from some super nice people on here though, if it wasn't for this forum I'd probably still be missing half of series 1 ><

I've got two cards on the way from ebay and then I will be done (two of my trades here never showed up and I decided to just get it over with and buy replacements). While I'm not happy about the delay in the US for series 2....to be honest I'm kind of glad for the break from collecting!

I decided not to collect full series because they're a money pit, but I am collecting all SP and cats, and I have all of them from Series 1 & 2 so far.

I was planning to do something similar; collect all of the cats, special characters, and any that I think is cute (but...there are too many of them). Once I had some of the cards though, I changed my mind and wanted to collect them all ><. As I keep playing the game and summoning villagers using the cards, I find more villagers I like or want the card so I can summon them and use them to follow a certain theme.

Now, I have about ten more cards in series one to get and the limited edition of Isabelle (I don't think I'm going to ever get it though).

AHAHAHA I felt exactly the same way you did! I wasn't going to collect the cards because there were too many and a big investment for money. My boyfriend told me to get the bundle which included the reader and I hesitated because what was the point of spending the extra $15 on something I probably won't ever use? But I decided to anyway because I might need it for later for something. On launch day, I went to pick up my preorder and saw the cards there and just HAD to buy one pack to see what the cards were like and such. Now I'm addicted. My curiosity explodes when I see a pack of those cards in stores. I literally crave opening the packages to see who is inside. I am SO glad I listened to my boyfriend and got the bundle because I would have to spend another $15 to get the reader on its own.

I completed all of series one a few weeks ago. I plan on completing series two when it comes out too. Luckily for me, I live near nintendo world and they hold trading events all the time. That's how I complete my sets without over buying packs. I think I spent less than 100$ on the whole set. I also ordered the amazing European collector album, and I got the USA event album too.

Well, since I can't trade on here i'm not as fast as you guys are to completing it. I didn't complete it yet, I need 49 more cards from wave 1 as i'm an American.

Yeah, I don't play HHD very much so I don't really get tempted to use them for gameplay. Definitely helps! Haha. Plus I gotta save up money for all of the actual amiibo... D:

Yep! All completed ... I am just waiting for the official Series 1 Happy Home Designer Album to put my cards into ... Right now they are happily sitting in a little storage box ... I am thankful to all the great trades that helped me complete my set!

I just completed the specials thanks to Nintendo sending me the ones I needed, and a friend sending me Isabelle ('cause Ninty didn't send her for some reason lol). Idc about the villager cards, so for me, I'm completed series 1, and I should be receiving the rest of the S2 specials I need tomorrow, then that'll be complete too.
Though there are a few villagers from S2 I'm after so I've got a bit more work to do there.
