Have you ever thought of selling a villager in your island?

I have Audie in my island --- I found her on a mystery tour --- and while I really do like her, I sometimes wonder if it's enough to resist the temptation of selling her instead. I feel a bit terrible for imagining the bells she can gain me.

Does anyone else have this running dialog in their head? Especially for players who have villagers in their island who aren't their dreamies, but for some reason are extremely popular with other people.

I've thought about it plenty, but I've taken it a step further and sold these animals for a quick buck without a second afterthought. I've also been on the other side and partook in the black market trade of these villagers, buying them whenever I can for my own twisted desire of having a town full of beautiful animals that I will never allow to leave me. Although, this is probably normal, right...?

Lmao I've had a dreamie approach me and ask me for permission to leave the island. That boy can never leave...

Nah, if I had an online membership I'd probably just gift her to the first person who would answer my thread simply because I wouldn't want to bother with the whole transaction. But hey, if they're moving out anyway, why not just get something out of it and make another person happy anyway?

I've already sold some of mine whoops. But really though, if you're not really sure if you truly want to keep a villager there's no reason to feel bad about selling them. Because everyone is looking for certain villagers and you can really make someone's day if you give their dreamie to them. Seen a lot of people looking for Audie in particular.

yeah absolutely, there's plenty of villagers who i am personally not a fan of but are very popular, so i'd definitely prefer to trade them for a villager i actually want or sell them for funds to buy dreamies.

i might sell them but for cheap bc some people may want a villager as a dreamie and i wouldnt want a newer player to not be able to get them bc im selling them for like 10 million bells or something

i'm hesitating doing so, if only due to the missing villager glitch: the last thing i wanna do is experience that while trying to get a dreamie. otherwise i wouldn't mind doing so: knowing a person is getting the villager they always wanted and knowing said villager will be getting a good home fills me with the fluffies.

I've definitely had the thought cross me before, but I usually end up giving them away.
I know how much it sucks to crave certain villagers and not be able to afford the huge amount of bells people want for them. Then again... bells are nice. I guess it would depend on the villager and my mood, haha.
