Just asking. I've been really into vintage Nintendo stuff and want to get my hands on a set of vintage Star Fox plushes from the '90s, but prices on eBay are painful, especially if it's good quality. Have you guys ever used Buyee or anoher Japanese proxy service? Not sure how the whole thing works. I'm considering making an account, but I'm kinda scared.
I've used it more or less for the past 5 years I'd say. It's legit and they do have an alright customer service, though be aware of some of their service fees if you buy cheaper things, a $5 magazine could easily be $10 and such. Make sure to unlink PayPal or remove your card numbers and such when not using it though to stay safe as with any online store. Knocks on wood they are safe, but just a head's up since a lot of people forget to remove it wherever.
I mostly buy these days older Johnny's Entertainment merch(mainly Japanese mercari and yahoo auctions), and I also used it for games, amiibos and such in the past. Definitely good for game stuff, but yeah make sure to read/translate the description depending on where you buy from and possibly use the more expensive plan, even if most are honest I definitely did not get one smaller thing once.
