So... Did anyone else here watched the pilot for Hazbin Hotel? And if so, what's your opinion about it?

I found it overall enjoyable, maybe here and there a bit chaotic to follow of what's going on right now, but yeah. The plot is interesting, I do like characters as well as their designs (although some of them are kinda "overloaded" when it comes to their designs, but still cool looking) and in general I'm looking forward to see if someone's gonna pick the show, as I do wonder how they will continue the story.

For those who don't know what Hazbin Hotel is, here is the pilot (Warning: It's a cartoon show with adult humor... And lot's of swearing, just so that you know): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zlmswo0S0e0

I really enjoyed it! I’ve been a fan of vivziepop’s work for a while, so I was excited when it came out.

I did have some issues with the pacing/editing. There were times when things were moving way too quickly with no breathing room between jokes/scenes, or information overload where they introduced too many new characters at once and I couldn’t keep up with what was happening. The art style can be too chaotic at times as well.

However despite this, I thought it was enjoyable and a lot of fun! The jokes were funny, the characters are interesting, and of course the animation is stunning! Im not usually a fan of “edgy” adult humor, but I think this show pulls it off super well and I found Angeldust hilarious. I loved Alister’s character too and I could listen to him talk all day.

I’m keen to see if it goes anywhere because I would love to see it get picked up by adult swim or another network for full production. I’m excited to see where the story and these characters could go. :)

it was so chaotic that i couldn't follow along with what was happening which seems like a common criticism. the plot screeches to a halt for a heap of dialogue and fighting and then something just..happens and they quickly move on with the plot. it wasn't very funny either, not because it was offensive, i think a lot of people who didn't like it can enjoy offensive humor when it's done differently, the humour definitely doesn't appeal to adults more than it does to edgy teens. it wasn't my cup of tea, but i am (morbidly) curious to see what direction it'll take if there is another episode.

I liked it! The animation is so nostalgic and smooth. Not to mention the voice acting is on point. I love the adult humour they threw in. It's unique to what I've seen.

Angeldust is hilarious!!

It was a little chaotic, and it felt like it moved too quickly; other than that, I feel it has potential, so I'm looking forwards to seeing how it goes! My brother loves it.

I love it! One of my favorite things I have seen in a while.
Favorite character is definitely Angel Dust, I have how their voice actor delivers their lines.

So I finally had a chance to watch this and I agree with everyone saying it was a bit chaotic and moved too quickly. But it's a neat concept and has some great characters. I love the art style as well. I'll keep watching to see where it goes.

I've watched it a few times now, for me it was one of those things where I needed to view it several times to see everything and understand whats going on. Upon first viewing everything seemed really fast and all over the place, it helps a lot to watch it a few times. I also heard that there was a comic out explaining some of the characters backstories so that could help too!

I really love the art-style of the show, and the animation is just amazing. The thing that bothered me the most though was how inconsisent the style was, you could tell when an animator changed shots since they were done in all different styles & programs, I personally found that really distracting.

For those who are interested: There is a new pilot out called "Helluva Boss", which takes place in the same universe as Hazbin Hotel, but has a different story and characters. If you want to check it out, here's the video:

To be honest, I must say, I kinda like this one a little bit more than Hazbin Hotel. Mostly because I really like the characters here. Also, I find HB not as chaotic as HH, in general it was enjoyable to watch right from the start.

I wasn't a fan of Hazbin but really enjoyed Helluva Boss. I love the voice actors, and characters. It actually managed to make me laugh quite a bit, exciting to see more of it!

I watched it and liked it about as much as Hazbin Hotel. I'm definitely interested in seeing more.
