I have been playing AC since WW. I never played the GC version but my younger brother did. I started with the WW version and got totally addicted! I spent hours upon hours playing the CF version and I am BEYOND EXCITED for the 3DS New Leaf! 
A bit about myself, I am 24 years old and work as a Veterinary Office Manager/Nurse. I am the proud owner of a Shiba Inu named Kismet, a Pomeranian named Fizzy and a Green Cheek Conure Parrot named Chia. Kismet is my baby, the pom and parrot are family pets. She comes to work with me everyday and sleeps on my desk. ^_^ She also comes with me to my boyfriends house during weekends so we are never apart!
I will be looking to play with other mature players once it comes out. I appreciate respectful down to earth people who will not destroy my town. Age really doesn't matter to me as long as there is a mutual respect. I really love the flowers of AC and gardening is one of my favorite parts of the game. In the CF version I had thousands covering my town!
