Hi! I'm new to TBT, but less new to ACNL as a whole. My name is Marina, I'm 23 and I'm Mina, the mayor of Dewshore! <3 Right now I'm really trying to customize my town. I just added pathways that I may or may not remove in the future once some good dirt paths form. I've also been messing around with customized flower placement and I have to say, it really does make a difference!
Current villager list: Marina, Elmer, Sylvia, Curlos, Octavian, Cookie, Pierce, Robin, Gruff
I have at least 2 villagers that I'd like to keep long-term (Marina and Elmer) but I am hopefully on the track to getting some of my other favorite villagers. I don't TT, although I used to. I don't have anything against it, I just found that when I used to do it, I lost interest way too quickly. Now, I pace myself and try to enjoy the company of my villagers.
I'm also trying to figure out themes for my house rooms. My living room is just mainly stuff I love and think looks great! I have the mermaid set but I feel like putting the entire set in one room is a bit overkill, so I try to balance it out with some minimalist stuff. In the future I'd like a room filled with cleaning supplies and appliances (it sounds boring but I LOVE the way that furniture looks: washing machine, ironing board, dishwasher, etc.) Maybe a room themed like a convenience store... I love the way the ice cream case looks, milk case, etc. I'd love a bakery/cafe themed room with pastries, chocolate fountain, sushi, cute food items. I want a library-themed room with the bookshelf wall, lots of books everywhere, a photocopier, maybe a desk/computer/laptop! Right now my upstairs room is tropical-themed but I'm not sure I'm going to keep it. I'd love a 'jungle-themed' room with the jungle floor, lots of plants everywhere, or maybe even a greenhouse/garden/forest-themed room. I think that would be really cute! Those are all the ideas I have for now~
As you can see, I am dying to talk about ACNL with someone, lol. My boyfriend is buying the game this weekend so he can play with me! But other than that, my other friends have migrated onto other games. My time zone is EST and I mostly play after 6pm (except M+W) and I have more flexibility on weekends. If you have a similar schedule, I'd love to trade FCs and maybe even Skypes! I'd love to make some Animal Crossing friends. :3
