Getting used to the forums here, really looking forward to meeting some different mayors across the world.
To introduce myself I am an avid gamer, really loved Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Gamecube. Played that game for 3 years, loved it.
The Mrs. recently picked my up a 3DS with Animal Crossing New Leaf as a gift for promoting to district manager with my company.
Couple of naive questions................How do I access my "ID" number to allow members of this site to access my town?

How do I input "ID" numbers from members of this forum so I can access their town?

Welcome to TBT! By "ID" numbers, do you mean friend codes? If so, then you can display your friend code at the side by going to settings > edit profile.

If you're asking how to actually input the FC, then choose the orange smiley on the 3DS menu.

Hello, welcome to the forum.
Go to the DS home menu and look for the orange smiley face icon. This is your friends list. Youll be able to find your friend code here which is automatically used in animal crossing. You can then 'add' a friends code.
They have to add you, you both have to be friends to visit one another. Hope I have explained it correctly?
