Hiya everyone!

I fiiiiinally got my Switch Lite yesterday after contemplating to buy one for over a year!
I started ACNH yesterday as well, the last time I played an Animal Crossing title was probably around 10 years ago or so.. LGTTC? Is that even 10 years old? Don't remember!
But I'm really happy to start this journey all over again.
I called my island Eorzea because that is the primary location in my favorite game, Final Fantasy 14!
My starting villagers are.. uhhhh.. let me go check it real quick.. Rowan and Hazel!
I'm still a little confused because the game seems to be pretty slow in the beginning but I'm sure I'll pick up on everything eventually.

Hello there, and welcome to the forum! I definitely get that the tutorial phase is confusing. My little cousin was having trouble with it, as well. It is slow in the beginning, but things will pick up for sure. It’s just a pain to get to three stars in order to unlock terraforming, but just listen to Isabelle and you’ll get it eventually.

I found the initial stages really slow too, but it's definitely worth sticking with!

Do you like your starter villagers? Do you remember any villagers from a previous game that you definitely want on your island?
