Hi, I've been playing New Leaf for almost a month now and I'm really enjoying it! I have been on a generic 3DS forum for a while, but haven't been finding anyone to visit or be visited so I've looked around for a better place.

I'll admit this isn't the first place I found but long story short this is a far nicer place

(the other place had byzantine regulations and requirements, and seems to treat New Leaf as a second class game acknowledged but not really accommodated. i could add whole towns to my profile, but I couldn't add New Leaf-specific information such as dream address or new fruits. When i first registered it prompted me to present myself as an "orphan" to be adopted by someone willing to show me the ropes, and it was pretty much necessary in order to understand the layout and idiosynchiones of the website - I couldn't even add my friend code and dream address unless they were in the correct [and different] formats with no hints as to what the correct format was [and after they were finally submitted the formatting was changed anyways]. plus I had to wait a whole day just to say hello)

I am jealous of you for only recently starting this game. I must obtain a device to keep removing memory of playing this game so I can rediscover it again and again.

That said, I am a bit of a newcomer, too, since I got this game on Christmas from my brother, and that way found out how addictive it is. And to think: If not for him, I might still be wondering if I should bother buying New Leaf.

Yeah I'll admit I which I knew some of the things I did now, such as the distance between your house-future bridge and bringing fish and stuff immediately to the museum whenever the encyclopedia reference comes up. Over time I hope to re-try City Folk (I had played it a little bit but got annoyed when Nook forced a new mortgage onto me when i wasn't expecting it) And I intend to pick up an old gamecube and so maybe the original.
