My name is Static and I've been playing New Leaf since August of last year, though I ended up losing that copy. ;^; I didn't get another one until just last month, so my town is way behind where I thought it would be at this point.

I'm not the best with introductions, so I'm just going to say hello! I really like talking to people, so if you want to send me a message, that's totally cool. Hmm, what else... I'm sort of a noob when it comes to Animal Crossing, by that I mean I don't really have any paths or huge extravagant orchards or anything big like that. I just play to play, really, though I do have a few sections of hybrids that I'm sorta proud of.

also isabelle is mine

Anyway, yeah! I hope to have a nice time here.

Hello Static! Welcome to the forums! =D Dang it sucks that you lost your first copy! I hope your new town is going well though! c=
Hehehe I've had the same town for 6months and I also don't have a lot of the extravagant things either! c=

Thanks! I was really down about it for a while, I spent a good bit of time looking for it hoping maybe I could find it, but eventually just bought a new copy. It's not a huge deal, though, I'm just glad I can play again! And it's nice to know I'm not the only one who doesn't use paths and that sort of thing.

Welcome to TBT!
And I hope you have fun here.
I've had my copy for 2 months and I also don't have extravagant either.
I try not to rush things so it would be more enjoyable that way.

Yeah, I have the same attitude as you. Sometimes I like to think I'd love to design and set up a cute town path, but I don't have my dreamies yet or a good town setup (what with PWPs and all) so if I did, it'd be a lot of work having to keep removing blocks and editing them, and it'd probably take a lot of the fun out of the game for me.

Exactly. I already got all my dreamies but I want to have all the PWPs up first so then I'll know how to set up my paths and start planting bushes as well. I feel like if I do that before I have the paths up I might ruin it.

Welcome to TBT!

Don't worry about paths or anything like that~just take your time and enjoy the sillyness of your villagers xD

Paths or hardcore designs aren't necessary and it'd be a waste of time anyways if you don't have all you dreamies and stuff u w u.

Thank you! And I know I shouldn't let it bug me, it just sort of gets to my head sometimes, I guess DX

I'll probably consider it once I do get all my dreamies- but even then, I'm not sure if I'll enjoy making and setting up the paths enough to want to have them. Eh, I guess I'll figure it out when I get there.

Welcome to the forums! I'm about where you are. No paths, no orchards, and I'm just figuring out hybrids. It's fun to play when you're not being a neat-freak about your town.

Welcome, welcome! :D Definitely take your time on it. If you want to do all the decorating and such, I'd personally wait until you have your villagers that you want to keep around as long as possible. It's a lot easier to deal with it when you don't have to worry about villagers plopping down in the middle of your path, hybrids, fruit trees, etc.

Think my main town of Noveria is almost a year old and while I do some stuff done, it's no where as nice as I want it to be. XD I'm at the point where my town is getting overtaken by regular flowers, because I haven't sorted out where I want to put my hybrids, PWPs and the rest of my paths.

Btw, wasn't sure if you knew or not, (sorries, if you already knew it... ^^; From your OP, it seemed like you didn't know... ) once you have a path, you don't actually have to physically take out each one to change the design. You just change the design itself and it'll automatically change everything. Keep that in mind if you decide to put a QR path in. :3

I didn't realize that at first either and I do like changing it up over the course of the year, so this does save some time. The hardest parts are where to put them and which path to use.

Thanks to both of you! And Pengu, I meant that if I placed paths and then decided to do a new PWP or if a villager moved, I'd have to move around and fix my paths. It just seems like a lot of work and I'm not sure if I'm willing to put in the time ^^; Oh, well. I only have 1 of my Dreamies so far (Felicity!) so it would just be a waste since I still need all the rest of my villagers to cycle out.
