Reluctant Mayor
Hi everyone- You can call me Danilla. I'm 22, (mostly) Female just finishing off my Geography bachelors in a South Western UK university and I work as a deckhand on a vintage tugboat. I picked up my copy of New Leaf and started from scratch yesterday after a quite a while, my dissertation (thesis) having taken up most of the last half-year of my life.
I've always been more of a computer than a console person, having started out with a C64 and a ZX Spectrum before I even laid hands on my GBC and Gamecube, but I love my Nintendo stuff a lot. AC has been probably my favourite since I first got the Gamecube version. I've lurked on here sporadically since NL's release, but was always a little too shy to join up, even though everybody seems to be really lovely on here.
Now, I suppose I should tell you a little about my character within my town of Ichor, shouldn't I? (Yes, I'm one of those lifeless people who honestly give their PCs way too much character development.) So I present to you: Willow, the reluctant Mayor. A seemingly stone-faced, sardonic and workaholic civil engineer from the big city, she had originally come to the town of Ichor to advise on a building project, when she was of course mistaken for the mayor by Isabelle and roped into staying. Despite being at first a little bitter and begrudging to her new constituents over being forced to move to the middle of nowhere, away from her beloved city life and modern, fancy apartment (that due to constantly working overtime she barely saw anyway) Will has slowly started to become attached to Ichor and its inhabitants. Hopefully her knowledge of building and construction will help her to create a beautiful town... and maybe help her to be the kinder, calmer woman she was before her old job took over her life.
Anyway, that's my wall 'o' text about done- I'm looking forward to talking to everyone here on TBT. -bows-
