Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to ACNL and keep stumbling across this forum when googling things, so I thought I'd join!

I got introduced to AC through Pocket Camp of all things. Been playing it since launch but I've been frustrated at how monetized and monotonous it's become... then the New Horizons trailer happened and I felt so excited for a "real " Animal Crossing game. My husband finally said I should try out New Leaf -- old, sure but way better than a mobile game in the meantime. I'm so glad he did! I love it; I'm a bit addicted.

I actually joined this forum to share a QR code I made that someone was asking for in the pattern section, only to discover I need bells to post images/attachments... so I guess I gotta go around a make a few posts!

Also glad to see that Pocket Camp is actually helping to introduce people to the series. Was never much of a fan of that game, but at least it had some positive impact.

Thanks guys! I'll be looking to have visitors soonish; I want the train station upgrade but never used my 3Ds for anything social (literally bought it for the LoZ Ocarina of Time remaster) so I don't have any friends who can visit my town. I also want to visit other people's towns!

And yes, in retrospect Pocket Camp kind of sucks. I'm a little embarrassed how long I stuck with it, knowing that there were full Animal Crossing games out there... I miss some of the exclusive furniture (and the ability to place things by half-spaces!!) but I'll live, hahah.

OMG I stopped playing Pocket Camp for 2 months because my service sucked where I lived before to come back to what looked like a whole new game I was so lost & sad since I invested so much time in the app. I gave up & deleted it LOL
