I've never been in an animal crossing forum before, even though I've been playing since Wild World came out, and since I'm kinda active in animal crossing reddit and just discovered this forum, I figured hey, sounds kinda cool. So hi! I'm DVD and I'm a huge animal crossing fan from Spain. I've had New Horizons since launch and been playing at least a little bit every single day, and I'm still developing my island! My sister has a switch where she plays Animal Crossing, she is the “main player” and I’m just an islander on it. I just bought a switch lite myself and have the animal crossing game to go with it. Instead of starting over I was wondering if I could duplicate the island from my sisters switch onto mine with the island transfer tool. I don’t want to delete it from her account, just so we can both play on the same island ?? Can anyone help please ???

I'm not the most "tech" person but I think that would be possible by first creating a backup on the original switch and then transfer the save date to the new switch. Unless someone has another input in the meantime...
