Hi! I'm new to this forum and I've been playing since City Folk. My favorite villager is Snake! Right now I'm starting back up with New Horizons, which I stopped playing because my internet provider couldn't connect on switch, so load times were slow and I couldn't get all the fruits and such. This was especially frustrating since the fruit furniture set is my absolute favorite!

We recently switched to fiber optic internet and I got it working! Now I'm playing daily again. Hopefully I can finally get the full fruit set of furniture, fingers crossed.

Also, is there a guide for getting villagers to leave your island? I've Googled it before but it doesn't seem like there's a guaranteed way to do it.

Hello and welcome! I'm not sure the exact way to get villagers to move out, but start by ignoring them. When they tell you they're thinking about moving, choose the response option that encourages them to leave.

Welcome to the forums! My best advice for kicking villagers out is being friendly with them. You talk to them a lot, shower them in gifts/letters, always do their favors, and soon enough you'll get them to leave your island. Alternatively, if you have an amiibo of a villager you like, over 3 days you can scan them in and complete their moving quests, and then you and choose who gets the boot.

And for another alternative, if you get a good camper, you play the games a lot with them to get them to move in. However, they will choose a villager at random. So if you want to get rid of Biff, but the camper says they're going to ask Bob, quit the game immediately without proceeding in the dialogue, and try again.
